Calibration Instructions
Greer Systems Automation recommends  testing and calibration if necessary, any of our detectors for reaction and low level response, including but not
limited to any non Greer Systems Products used to interconnect alarm relay(s) and output point(s) that provide signal and notification. This is to ensure
that products and installations continue to operate as designed.

Greer Systems Automation considers our gas detectors to be similar in design and operation to the common smoke detector where as the  operation
should be verified a minimum of once every
six months, or as a reminder, every daylight savings, we recommend using test gas, this will allow you to
quickly test your detector for reaction, verify its output, and determine if a calibration is necessary, without ever opening the enclosure, takes about
five minutes.

Tools required are basic, small screwdriver, medium screwdriver, electrical meter with mV resolution and mA function. IC models require DB9 serial
operating Windows Hyper terminal.

Check back whenever calibrating, we will continue to update test notes for all our products, eventually we will have all testing instruction posted. If
your device is not listed please call 1.800.877.4524 and request your calibration procedures free of charge.

Note: Beginning January 2010, Calibration Test Results will no longer be kept on file at our office, they will be sent with your detector.
AS Series
  • AS100 Gas Detector, volt output, white circuit board, a blast from the past, manufactured by EDA around 1990s, we still have one operating, sensor
    dependant, production discontinued.
  • AS100
  • AS200 Gas Detector, loop output, non-isolated, feature rich design, very popular still offered, Under Construction
  • AS300 Gas Detector, electrochemical, production discontinued, Under Construction
  • AS400 Gas Detector, loop output, isolated, fused, microprocessor based function, relay board option, current production, test notes are also used
for sensor replacement using a 1000PPM span
  • AS400
  • AS500 Under Construction
  • AS600 Gas Detector, electrochemical, pushbutton calibration, loop output, microprocessor based function, current production, test note are
located in the manual, 2 version available, if you device has 435-0045-14 on the microprocessor than use the V1.4 instructions
